This page explains how INTERSTORY S.R.O., Černokostelecká 1806/123, Strašnice, 100 00 Praha 10, VAT ID CZ29128030, uses cookies and similar browser technologies on interstory.cz. Questions may be sent to info@interstory.cz.

1. What cookies and browser storage are

Cookies are small pieces of information stored by a website in your browser. Local storage is a similar browser feature that can remember information between visits. In this policy, “browser storage” covers both technologies. Some storage is necessary to provide a feature you request; optional analytics or marketing storage requires your consent.

2. Storage currently used

The public shop currently uses the following first-party, necessary browser storage. It is created by INTERSTORY.CZ and is not used for third-party advertising.

NameTypePurposeDuration
cookie-consentLocal storageRecords necessary, analytics and marketing choices and the policy version.Up to 12 months
cartLocal storageRemembers products, selected variations and quantities in your cart.Until cleared or replaced
currencyLocal storageRemembers whether you chose CZK or EUR.Until cleared or replaced
compareLocal storageRemembers up to three products selected for comparison.Until cleared or replaced

The protected staff area additionally uses authentication storage to keep authorised personnel signed in, plus staff-signin-attempts in local storage to apply a temporary sign-in lock after repeated failures. These items are strictly necessary for staff access and security and are not used for customer tracking.

3. Analytics and marketing

CategoryPurposeCurrent useConsent
NecessaryProvide requested store, preference, security and consent functions.Active as listed aboveNot required
AnalyticsMeasure visits and understand store use.No analytics trackers are active at presentRequired before use
MarketingMeasure campaigns or personalise advertising. No marketing trackers are active at presentRequired before use

Your consent panel includes analytics and marketing choices so that you remain in control if those tools are introduced later. Selecting a category does not itself install a tracker where none is active. We will update this page if the technologies in use change.

4. How your choice works

On your first visit, the banner lets you accept all optional categories, reject non-essential storage, or choose categories separately. Necessary storage remains active because it supports functions you request. Optional analytics or marketing technologies are not activated before the relevant consent is given.

Your choice, the date and the policy version are stored in your browser for up to 12 months. We ask again when that period expires or the consent version changes.

5. Change or withdraw consent

You may review or change your choice at any time. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it and does not affect processing that occurred before withdrawal.

You can also delete cookies and local storage through your browser settings. Doing so may empty your cart and comparison list, reset the displayed currency, sign authorised staff out and cause the consent banner to appear again. Blocking necessary storage may prevent parts of the store from working as expected.

6. Your privacy rights

Where browser technologies process personal data, the rights and contact details in our Privacy Policy apply. You may also object to processing based on legitimate interests or withdraw consent for optional technologies at any time.
